Our goal is the removal of carbon emissions
from all UK homes
Heat Scheme provides on-going awareness, assessments and guidance to staff on reducing carbon emissions at home
44% 44%

Currently 44% of UK households ration their heating at home, and the consequences can lead to damp and mould in homes and poor health among those living there, which directly affects staff wellbeing and reduces the number of worked days each year.

Graphic explaining why Heat Scheme should be offered

Heat Scheme supports your staff in reducing heating bills at home by up to 50% and reducing their carbon emissions by up to 80%.

Key drivers to reduce carbon emissions include switching from gas boilers to heat pumps, solar panels, batteries and EV charging points. Other drivers include reviewing the home’s fabric to assess whether heat loss can readily and cost-effectively be reduced.

Your staff will enjoy access to a portal with a considerable amount of information and guidance about reducing heating bills and emissions and they are able to book assessments for a 1:1 consultation for their home, which will include guiding on available Government and other grants and introducing quality contractors to carry out work.

If you want to support your staff with reducing heat rationing, reducing carbon emissions and increasing wellbeing at home, join us and together we will effect real change.

At JCDecaux we are continually looking to improve the wellbeing of our staff, which extends to aiding their welfare at home. With the significant rise in the average home energy bills, the Heat Scheme benefit scheme will support our staff with reducing their heating bills and increasing comfort at home, while also raising awareness about ongoing emissions and practical steps we can individually take to reduce those emissions

17% of OLIVER's 2023 UK carbon footprint came from working from home emissions. To reach our net zero targets we need to offer solutions and support to help our people transition to renewable energy at home. By partnering with Heat Scheme, OLIVER can both reduce business emissions, while also offering employees tangible benefits like improved home energy efficiency and cheaper energy bills. The expert knowledge and verified contractors heat scheme provide enables our employees to make changes with confidence. We look forward to working with the Heat Scheme team going forwards and seeing its results.

UK Power Networks has set tough environmental, carbon and social targets across the business and as part of our vision statement aims to ‘enable the Net Zero transition for all’. It is critical that we also support our staff in their own decarbonisation journeys. A key area of action for the UK is to decarbonise our domestic housing, so we are very pleased to partner with Heat Scheme to assist our staff in improving the efficiency of their homes.

Reducing carbon emissions is a core priority for us and this scheme fits perfectly in supporting our staff in reducing their emissions at home. That the scheme supports reducing heating bills too is an added bonus.

As an organisation we always encourage our staff to reduce carbon emissions where possible. Heating and hot water usage at home generate a significant percentage of emissions and so supporting our people to switch to clean energy through Heat Scheme is the right thing to do.

This scheme will help our employees increase their home energy efficiency, cut their carbon emissions, discuss home improvements such as insulation and save on heating costs. We look forward to working with Heat Scheme to provide this innovative scheme to all our employees.
